What to do in Brisbane?

Air New Zealand has non-stop flights to Brisbane from Auckland and Christchurch, with connections from across the entire domestic network. So you can be living it up in Bris Vegas whenever you want!

The thriving metropolis to Brisbane is so close to NZ, we should just go ahead and claim it. There are more Kiwis living in Brizzy than Tauranga after all.

And if you've ever been there, you'll know why. Sitting close to Australia's most easterly point it's surrounded by endless beaches, with the Gold Coast just down the road, and tropical rainforest laid out on the doorstep. Watch out for the wildlife too, it's Australia after all. The locals are harmless though, even if they do bend the rules at cricket sometimes.

But you don't have to leave the city to make the most of your trip, Brisbane has everything you'd expect from an international city with world class accommodation, dining, shopping and entertainment. If you're the fancy-pants type, they've got more museums, galleries and culture than you can shake a digeridoo at too.
